Subdivision Fee Schedule

Subdivisions served by on-site sewage disposal are becoming more popular in the rural Missouri areas. The Missouri Department of Natural Resources (DNR) requires a soil suitability report for subdivisions with 7 lots or more with lot sizes under 5 acres that are to be served by on-site sewage systems.

We would be pleased to discuss with you any upcoming projects that would require our services. Our Subdivision Fee Schedule follows:

Geohydrologic Groundwater Evaluation Request (DNR-Rolla)
DNR (Rolla) provides this evaluation at no charge.  On-Site Soils will fill out the request form and provide all required maps at no charge. To complete the request form, we will need the following:
1. Legal description of the property, or map with township, range and section.
2. Developer's name, address and telephone
3. Type of water supply to be used (community public water, non-community public water, multi-family well or individual community public).

DNR Report (Jefferson City)
$450.00 (fixed fee)

DNR Soil Pits (one soil pit per 10 acres)
Note: Lots less than 2 acreas in size will require additional soil pits
$100.00 per soil pit evaluation

St. Charles County requires one soil pit per lot as a county requirement. Lots with DNR soil pits above do not need to be resampled.

Franklin County requires one soil pit per lot as a county requirement for newly divided property.  Plus a statement from the soil scientist indicating that the property is suitable for an on-site sewage system.

Jefferson County requires one soil pit per lot as a county requirement for new developments with lots under 10 acreas in size in the form of a "Wastewater Report". A wastewater report which includes our soil information must be developed by a Jefferson County approved engineering firm.

OPTIONAL: On-Site Soils can provide backhoe pits for the above evaluations for $50.00 each.
